Description

Day 1: Verona
Individual arrival in Verona. Overnight in Verona.

Day 2: Verona – Montagnana (60 km)
From Verona, we head east, following the Adige river, pedaling on bike paths and narrow country roads. We stop in Cologna Veneta, home of the famous almond nougat, and then reach Montagnana, a small medieval town surrounded by well-preserved ancient walls. Overnight in Montagnana.

Day 3: Montagnana – Padua (52 km)
We leave Montagnana and pedal towards the soft profile of the Euganean Hills, among cultivated fields and winding canals. We arrive in Este: park your bike and enjoy a walk in the square, with its nice cafes, in the shade of the large trees of the castle park. We get back on the saddle directed to Padua. Along the way, many places deserve a break for a visit: Monselice, the Catajo Castle, the Monumental Garden, and the labyrinth of Valsanzibio. In the late afternoon, bike collection in Padua. Overnight in Padua.

Day 4: Padua – Venice in Burchiello
Today we get on a boat. Early in the morning, we board the Burchiello for a slow mini-cruise on the waters of Brenta: a river of villas. The boat crosses nine swing bridges and five locks. Stop at Villa Foscari, also known as La Malcontenta, Villa Widmann in Mira and Villa Pisani in Stra, for guided tours. If desired, book the optional lunch at the famous Il Burchiello restaurant in Oriago, where the barge docks. The mini cruise ends its journey in the spectacular scenery of Venice, right in front of St. Mark's church. Overnight in Mestre.

Day 5: Venice/Mestre
After breakfast, end of services, and individual departure.
