Description

Day 1: Francavilla al Mare
Individual arrival at Francavilla al Mare and accommodation in the country house. After settling your luggage, there will be a briefing and delivery of bicycles if rented. At sunset, an aperitif with a tasting of local DOC wines will introduce you to the authentic flavors of the region, while a delicious dinner foretells the culinary delights of the coming days.

Day 2: Francavilla al Mare - Fara Filiorum Petri (35 km; +/-720 m)
In the saddle, you will explore the Colline Teatine Wine Route, immersing yourself in the soft Abruzzo hills. Panoramic views over the Alento valley and discovering charming villages such as Chieti and Guardiagrele will enrich the route. The tasting of Montepulciano and Colline Teatine DOP extra virgin olive oil will make you feel a unique bond with the land. You will also visit historic villages, culminating in a tasting experience at a local farm.

Day 3: Fara Filiorum Petri - Orsogna (35 km; +/-650 m)
You will continue towards the imposing Maiella, crossing the fertile wine territory of Chieti. The stop in Guardiagrele, famous for the ancient art of wrought iron, will add a touch of magic to the journey. The day will end with a tasting in a well-known winery in Orsogna, where you will discover wines of exceptional quality.

Day 4: Orsogna - Francavilla al Mare (35 km; +/-450 m)
You will cross the vineyards of the Teatine hills, discovering historic places such as Arielli and the castle of Crecchio. The visit to the Wine City of Tollo will be a moment of celebration of wine culture, with tastings that will enhance your senses. Finally, you will return to Francavilla al Mare, closing the circle of this unforgettable experience.
