Description

Day 1: Verona
Individual arrival in Verona. Check-in at the accommodation in Verona. At 18:00 Welcome briefing and bike fitting at our local operator.

Day 2: Lake Garda and Bardolino wine (51 km + return by train)
The route discovering the wines of Verona leaves the city safely, following a cycle path that leads into the countryside, among large crops of peaches and kiwi. The bike path climbs in altitude, offering beautiful views of Valpolicella and the Verona mountains, then descends. You will reach Lake Garda, the towns of Bardolino and Lazise. Before arriving in Peschiera (15 minutes by train from Verona), it's time for tastings. Enjoy a lunch break at the farm and discover Bardolino wine. There is the possibility to return to Verona by bike (~25km). Overnight in Verona.

Day 3: The Classic Valpolicella and its wines (50 km)
The route leaves the city behind, to travel a beautiful cycle path towards the hills of Valpolicella. Follow the country roads that, immersed in the vineyards, flank ancient farmhouses and elegant Venetian villas: some of them are now prestigious wineries and visiting them will be a great cultural experience, as well as a winemaking one. Stop to taste the renowned Valpolicella wine. You will return towards the city center, cycling in the shade of the terraced hills and following the course of the Adige river. Overnight in Verona.

Day 4: Soave and its wine (46 km + return by train)
You will cross the historic center of Verona, to find yourself, shortly after, immersed in the countryside, along small water courses until you reach the green valleys of the eastern Verona. After a couple of easy and scenic climbs, you will finally reach Soave, an ancient village surrounded by impressive medieval walls and dominated by a castle. Taste the fresh Soave wine, which will be unforgettable. Finally, reach San Bonifacio, from where you will take the train to return to Verona. If you feel like cycling, you can return to Verona by bike (~25km). At 18:00 handover of the bike at the rental. Overnight in Verona.

Day 5: Verona
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
