Description

1° day: the villages of Candelara and Mombaroccio (15 km/600 mt. of difference in altitude) or Candelara, Novilara and Mombaroccio (32 km/950 mt. of difference in altitude)
Arrival at the location by own means. After check in and room setup, departure for the first MTB excursion, exploring the area with a ring route on a paved road. The itinerary will visit Candelara, a prehistoric village in the Marche where you can visit the Pieve di Santo Stefano, from Roman times, and admire breathtaking views, to immerse yourself in small valleys, oak woods, shrubs, vines, olive trees. The 360° horizon panorama ranges from the sea to the Apennines, with the profile of the mountains: Catria, Nerone, Carpegna.
Continuing to Mombaroccio, a medieval village named after the "biroccio", a typical Marche agricultural cart. You can stop in the small square, a meeting point for cyclists and curious, and visit the agriculture museum. Possibility, depending on the cyclists' training and time/season, to extend this route by adding Novilara, a Picenian necropolis and ancient castle located between Valle Foglia and Metauro. Return to the B&B where you will be welcomed by the owners for a welcome drink and a typical Marche dinner.

2° day: Furlo Gorge, Furlo-Acqualagna Natural Reserve, homeland of the truffle (46 km/900 mt. of difference in altitude)
From the B&B, you will reach with your own transportation (possibility to book, transport costs – not included) the Furlo Gorge, the fascinating canyon of the Marche, up to the starting point of the tour (about 1h by car). We will move towards Monte Pletralata, where you'll see the profile of the Duce (or what remains of it), an extremely interesting scenic point. There are many possible stops during the route, to admire flowers and plants, and see the eagles' nest.

3° day: Monte San Bartolo Natural Park (32 or 46 km/800-1200 mt. of difference in altitude)
Breakfast at the location and departure for Monte San Bartolo/Pesaro Natural Park, a protected area, largely consisting of a live cliff, that you will admire between sea spurs and undulating rock, hills rich in vineyards and olive trees, trails surrounded by brooms, bushes and wonderful views on the park's beaches.
For this last day discovering Marche, you can choose between 3 different routes, all inside the Park, with possibility to refresh in the villages mentioned below.
