Day 2: Lecce – Maglie (35 km)
Briefing and bike delivery. In this first stage, you will cycle southwards, in the Salento hinterland, crossing some municipalities of the Grecìa Salentina such as Sternatia and Corigliano d’Otranto. Griko, a neo-Greek dialect, is still spoken in these countries. You will then arrive in Maglie, an elegant town in the heart of Salento.

Day 3: Maglie – Otranto (30 km)
You continue to pedal to discover the Grecìa Salentina, passing through the typical villages such as Melpignano, home of the Notte della Taranta. Today’s destination is Otranto, the easternmost city in Italy. It is advisable to visit the Aragonese castle and the Cathedral, famous for the majestic rose window and the famous floor mosaic.

Day 4: Otranto – Torre dell’Orso (25 km)
Your bike tour in eastern Salento continues north. After a few kilometers you will take a dirt road that will lead you to the Alimini Lakes. Afterwards, you will cycle towards the Faraglioni of Sant’Andrea and then finish the stage in Torre dell’Orso, where one of the most beautiful beaches of Salento awaits you.

Day 5: Torre dell’Orso – Lecce (30 km)
Proceeding along the coast, just before arriving in San Foca, you will find the wonderful Grotta della Poesia. Always pedaling along the Adriatic coast, you will enter the Cesine Nature Reserve.
