Day 1: Bastia
Arrive individually at Bastia and check into the hotel. After settling your luggage, if you have time, you can explore the lovely old port, the freely accessible Citadel, and the old town, which offer a spectacular panoramic view of the sea and surrounding mountains. In the evening, we recommend a stroll around the old port to enjoy its lively atmosphere.
Day 2: Bastia – Centuri (55 km; +717/-715 m or 69 km; +1040/-1038 m)
Today you will cycle along a road that skirts the sea, crosses a forest, and reaches the other side of the island with its beautiful cliffs. Several Genoese towers line the Corsican coast, as do old convents and mills. The marinas, with their small fishing ports, are beautiful. The final destination of the day is Centuri, the most important lobster fishing port in France.
Day 3: Centuri – Saint Florent (56 km; +1216/1220 m or 60 km; +1398/-1402 m)
Today you will leave the Cap Corse to go South, towards Saint Florent. Depending on the chosen route, it is possible to visit the village of Patrimonio, famous throughout Corsica for its vineyards. Along the entire stage, enjoy the wonderful views of the Gulf of Saint Florent. Don't miss the citadel, the harbor and its small shopping streets.
Day 4: Saint Florent – Monticello (51 km; +796/-576 m or 82 km; +1638/-1418 m)
Today's route will take you into the heart of the island: the Desert des Agriate. From village to village, you will cross this beautiful desert getting closer to the sea. Depending on the chosen route, you can also cross the Balagne region with its magnificent landscapes before descending to the coast and its Genoese towers. You will soon arrive in Monticello, your final destination. Don't miss the sunset over the sea.
Day 5: Monticello – Galéria (63 km; ++957/-1173 m or 83 km; +946/-1163 m)
Today you will have the opportunity to cross the charming villages of Balagne, Sant'Antonino, Pigna, and many others, admiring their delicate charm. You will then arrive in Calvi, a splendid medieval city that rises on a blue coast, dominated by the mountains of the Monte Cinto massif. Here you can visit the magnificent 12th century Genovese Citadel and enjoy an authentic small paradise. From Calvi, the spectacular sandy beaches of Balagne disappear, to give way to granite and volcanic rocks of the northwestern coast, with steep cliffs with vibrant colors, ochre, pink, or red, which leave room for rare wild beaches composed of mauve, black sand, and gravel torn from the volcanic peaks. The view of the sea is astonishing. Your crossing of Corsica by electric bike continues along the coast to the final destination of the day, the small village of Galeria.
Day 6: Galéria – Porto (51 km; +921/-903 m)
Today you will cycle on one of the most fascinating roads in Europe, with breathtaking ups and downs towards the Gulf of Porto. Along the way, you can admire a spectacular view of the bay of Girolata, a charming village accessible only by sea or on foot. Don't forget your camera to capture the most evocative moments of this unforgettable landscape.
Day 7: Porto – Corte (83 km; +2895/-2493 m)
Today you have a challenging day ahead, but your efforts will be rewarded with the enchanting villages that you will cross including Evisa, known for its chestnuts, and the magnificent Aïtone forest. You will explore the remote Niolu area, cross Albertacce, Casamaccioli and Calacuccia along the shores of its vast lake, before reaching Corte via the spectacular Scala di Santa Regina.
Day 8: Corte – Zicavo (80 km; +1947/-1686 m)
Today you are in for a mountain stage among the majestic chestnut trees that will take you to the famous Green Pass (1289 m) to reach Zicavo. This enchanting mountain village is located in the heart of a wild and uncontaminated valley, surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Natural Park. The charm of Zicavo lies in the water that constantly flows along the streets and in the gardens of the village. Climb above the village to admire the waterfall with its crystal clear water pools.
Day 9: Zicavo – Zonza (44 km; +1800/-1743 m)
After crossing the road that crosses the Vaccia pass, you will reach the picturesque village of Zonza, which is located in one of the oldest inhabited territories of the island. This charming village, typical of the South of the island, is characterized by the ochre-clad facades and the small shops. Located in the heart of Alta Rocca, at an altitude of 762 meters above sea level, Zonza offers breath-taking views, with the famous Aiguilles de Bavella set against a blue sky.
Day 10: Zonza – Bonifacio (71 km; +1014/-1783 m)
Today you will cross the Ospédale dam. This area will remind you of the Canadian pine forests, thanks to the beautiful lake surrounded by splendid trees. In addition, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Gulf of Santa Manza before reaching the extraordinary city of Bonifacio, located on top of its white cliff overlooking the sea.
Day 11: Bonifacio
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
