Description

Day 1: Colmar
Individual arrival in Colmar and hotel check-in in the late afternoon. Take some time to visit this magnificent city with both French and German characteristics, with its medieval and renaissance buildings overlooking the cobblestone streets - the perfect example of a typical Alsatian town.

Day 2: Colmar – circular tour through the vineyards – Colmar (45 or 60 km)
We leave Colmar cycling towards the north and after Houssen, we continue to the vineyards of Ribeauvillé and end the ride with a visit to Riquewihr, Turkenheim and Eguisheim, fairy-tale villages located along the Alsace Wine Route. Return to Colmar.

Day 3: Colmar – Munster – Colmar (45 km)
From Colmar we head towards the Munster Valley and pass through Turckheim and Zimmerbach. Rounded peaks, steep slopes and glacially formed lakes make up the extremely varied landscape of this valley, dominated by one of the most beautiful massifs of the Vosgi. You will then arrive in Munster, a city known for the cheese of the same name produced in the green valley surrounding the town - certainly one of the gastronomic delights of the region. Return to Colmar along the cycle path winding through the valley.

Day 4: Colmar – Breisach am Rhein – Colmar (70 km)
This stage is dedicated to discovering the villages of the Rhine Valley. You will first reach Neuf-Breisach, a city fortified by Vauban in the 19th century. After crossing the river, you will reach Breisach in Germany. The Rhine Cycle Route will finally lead you to Marckolsheim, on the French bank of the river, where you can visit a fortified work of the Maginot Line. Return to Colmar following the cycle path along the canal.

Day 5: Colmar – Guebwiller – Mulhouse – Colmar (50 or 80 km)
From Colmar, you travel the southern stretch of the Alsace Wine Route until you reach Guebwiller. From here you can continue to Bollwiller, where you can catch a train back to Colmar, or continue cycling to Ungersheim and visit the Alsace Ecomuseum. From here, the bike path will take you directly to Mulhouse. Return to Colmar by train.

Day 6: Colmar – Strasbourg – Colmar (25 km)
Today you'll reach Strasbourg by train. However, you'll have the opportunity to bring your bike and cycle along the Rhône-Rhine canal cycle path from Erstein to Strasbourg (25 km). Trains to Strasbourg depart every half hour. You'll easily be able to visit the Alsatian capital, dominated by the majestic Gothic cathedral, by bike. At the end of the day, the train will take you back to Colmar.

Day 7: Colmar
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
