Description

Day 1: Turin
Individual arrival in Turin.

Day 2: Turin – Venaria – Avigliana (40 km)
In Venaria, you will bike within the large regional park La Mandria, once a hunting reserve of the Savoy, including their wonderful castle and stables. Continuing on saddle, you will reach Bussoleno, a delightful mountain village. Biking mostly downhill, you will reach Susa, where you can admire some interesting Roman remains before arriving in Avigliana. We recommend visiting the two charming Avigliana lakes set in a natural park and the medieval town center.

Day 3: Avigliana – Pinerolo (35 km)
Today, you will pedal at the foot of the Western Alps, then a short climb will take you to Trana. Following the trail, you will cross some small villages until you reach Pinerolo. Along the route, you can visit the Museum of Taste in Frossasco. Overnight in the delightful Pinerolo, where in the past there was one of the most famous cavalry schools in Italy.

Day 4: Pinerolo – Cavour – Saluzzo (50 km)
You will leave Pinerolo and head towards the Rocca of Cavour to discover a corner of genuine nature, immersed in mysteries and legends. Continuing to pedal, you will spot the magnificent Staffarda Abbey, which stands alone in the beautiful Saluzzo plain, one of the most important and fascinating religious houses in Piedmont. The day ends in Saluzzo, a beautiful medieval town located on top of a hill.

Day 5: Saluzzo – Fossano – Cherasco (66 km)
Having left Saluzzo behind, you will arrive in Fossano, with its interesting historical center and its castle, a symbol of the city. Then you will face gentle climbs and cross the gentle hills of Langhe, characterized by rows that produce some of the most famous Italian wines, such as Barolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto.

Day 6: Cherasco – Carmagnola (42 km)
Biking on quiet roads, you will reach Racconigi. We suggest visiting the Castle of Racconigi, once the residence of the Savoy-Carignano dynasty, surrounded by a wonderful green park. We also recommend visiting the Lipu Oasis, with its stork center.

Day 7: Carmagnola – Moncalieri – Turin (45 km)
Pedaling along the Po, within the river park, you will reach Moncalieri. Here, in the historical center located on top of a hill, you can admire and visit the imposing Castle of Moncalieri, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997.
