Description

Day 1: Brussels
Individual arrival in Brussels, a city that will seduce you with its buildings, galleries, alleys, the market square, the Atomium, the Manneken Pis, all characteristic places of the Belgian capital that you must visit.

Day 2: Brussels – Mechelen (65 km)
On this first day of biking, you will ride through Leuven, a typical city of Flanders known not only for being the oldest university city in Belgium but also for being the city of beer. Once you reach Mechelen, you can enjoy a walk along the River Dijle to discover important historical buildings, from the St Rombouts Cathedral to the palaces of Margaret of York and Margaret of Austria. Alternatively, you can visit the toy museum.

Day 3: Mechelen – Bornem/Puurs (32 or 38 km)
Today's stage will take you along the Rupel and Scheldt rivers to Bornem or Puurs; it's a short stage that will leave you time to reach Antwerp by train in just 15 minutes: enjoy a walk along Meir, the shopping street, have a beer in one of the many squares, or admire the rich architecture of this important city in Flanders.

Day 4: Bornem/Puurs – Ghent/Melle (58 or 64 km)
Ghent is another important center known for its many towering buildings; the city offers numerous points of interest, such as St Bavo's Cathedral, which houses the famous work by Jan van Eyck. The historic center is well preserved, and the old port is worth visiting, as is the nearby Gravensteen, the former medieval castle of the Counts of Ghent.

Day 5: Ghent/Melle – Bruges (52 or 58 km)
The historic center of Bruges, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe, is part of UNESCO's World Heritage. Take time to stroll through the parks, intimate alleys, and old market squares, discovering this living museum of the 13th century, which has remained almost unchanged for five centuries, with its old houses and aristocratic palaces, churches, and numerous canals. You can also go shopping: local shopkeepers will be happy to tell you all about their beer and chocolate, or simply enjoy a dish of moules-frites, the typical mussels and fries.

Day 6: Bruges – De Haan – Bruges (55 km)
On the last biking stage, you will continue along the canals of the picturesque town of Lissewege and then ride to De Haan, a coastal municipality where you can either relax on the beach or swim in the North Sea. Alternatively, you can spend the day shopping, take a boat ride through the canals, visit a museum, or quickly reach Ostend by train (15 minutes).

Day 7: Bruges
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
