Description

Day 1: Stockholm
Individual arrival in Stockholm and hotel accommodation. Enjoy a walk in the capital of Sweden and explore some of the numerous tourist attractions. At the evening, there will be a welcome briefing and the delivery of bicycles (if booked).

Day 2: Stockholm – Södertälje – Mariefred (45 km)
The first stage of the tour will take you along the ancient trading route of the Vikings. Along the Mälaren Lake, the third largest lake in Sweden, you will spot the Drottningholm Castle with its wonderful 18th century Chinese Pavilion, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1991. Then you will ride on secondary roads up to the Gripsholm Castle, which hosts the national collection of portraits: more than 4000 works tracing the art of portraiture from the 1400s to today. The castle's history dates back to 1370 when it was built by Bo Jonsson Grip.

Day 3: Mariefred – Järna (60 km)
Today's tour will take you right into the heart of pristine and remote nature reserves, through the extraordinary scenery of Sörmland. Here you can admire enchanting rivers, lakes and breathtaking views before arriving in the small town of Järna, known for its famous anthroposophical village with biodynamic gardens.

Day 4: Järna – Trosa (35 km)
Your destination today is the idyllic town of Trosa on the Baltic Sea, which has been the backdrop of countless films and television series like Inga Lindström. End your day by wandering through the picturesque village, admiring the small alleyways, the red houses, and the stunning landscape. We recommend trying crabs, salmon or smoked fish at one of the lovely local restaurants for dinner.

Day 5: Trosa (20 km)
Today is a free day in Trosa. After breakfast, a transfer will take you to Tullgarn Palace, where King Gustavo V and Queen Victoria used to spend their summers at the beginning of the 20th century. Take some time to visit the beautiful garden of the palace, accompanied by the refreshing sea breeze, and indulge in a typical Swedish fika (coffee break) before returning to Trosa. Alternatively, you can spend the day in the captivating town of Trosa, on the beach or in the wonderful wellness area of your hotel (not included).

Day 6: Trosa – Stockholm (55 km)
Heading north and after a short ferry trip, you will arrive on one of the many islands of Stockholm. Enjoy the night in the capital with a typical Swedish dinner in one of the numerous city restaurants.

Day 7: Stockholm
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
