Description

Day 1: Stralsund
Individual arrival in Stralsund and boarding at 4:00 PM. After settling your luggage, we suggest a walk in the city's historic center. The city, an ancient medieval fortress in the Baltic Sea, has always played a crucial role thanks to its fleet and the power of its maritime trade. Stralsund's historic center, built in the so-called Baltic Gothic style and rich in narrow streets among the beautiful colored facades of houses, has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Day 2: Stralsund – Lauterbach – Peenemünde (48 km)
The bike route today begins from the beautiful city of Stralsund, then crosses the Rügen dam to reach the island of the same name and the village of Gustow. It continues to Poseritz, Groß Schoritz, the hometown of Ernst Moritz Arndt, until reaching Putbus, known for its circular square lined by classic buildings, towards which all the city’s roads converge. In the late afternoon, around 6:00 PM, you will embark from Lauterbach to reach Usedom.

Day 3: Peenemünde – Wolgast (16 or 20 km)
After breakfast on your bike, you will have the chance to explore the beautiful island of Usedom. Immerse yourself in the charm of this picturesque island surrounded by the waters of the Szczecin Lagoon, located on the border between Germany and Poland. We suggest you visit the Peenemünde Historical Technical Museum, a technical-historical museum established in 1991 based in the former Peenemünde power station, or to travel the Beach Route, through Trassenheide and Zinnowitz. After passing the port of Karlshagen and Zecherin, you will reach the town of Wolgast located at the estuary of the Oder, considered the gateway to the island of Usedom with its 40 km of white beach and 2000 consecutive hours of sun per year. We suggest visiting the historic medieval center and the church of St Petri.

Day 4: Wolgast – Szczecin by boat
Today the boat will cross the wide waters of the Bay of Szczecin, also known as the Oder Lagoon. You will then proceed to the city of Szczecin, positioned at the mouth of the Oder, one of the largest ports in the Baltic Sea. We suggest visiting the city's historic center with the castle of the Dukes of Pomerania.

Day 5: Szczecin – Mescherin – Schwedt (30 km)
Today's stage will take you from Szczecin to Schwedt. After passing Gartz, you will cycle through the borders of the Lower Oder Valley National Park, a precious ecosystem that hosts numerous bird species, but also contains must-see attractions. Continuing the route, you will arrive in Schwedt, the end destination of the day.

Day 6: Schwedt – Hohensaaten – Eberswalde (32 km)
In the morning, you will reach Hohensaaten by boat. Afterwards, you will cycle through beautiful landscapes among small hills, clearings and woods that will bring you to the city of Eberswalde. The journey continues along quiet bike paths along the Finow Canal, where you will find Germany's oldest operating lock, a technological monument since 1978.

Day 7: Eberswalde – Oranienburg – Berlin (38 km)
In the morning, the boat will take you to Oranienburg. Once disembarked, we suggest you admire the oldest Baroque-style Dutch castle in the Brandenburg March with its beautiful park, orangery and museum. From here, a well-marked bike path will lead you south through the coastal area of Ruppin, up to Berlin.

Day 8: Berlin
After breakfast, disembarkation by 9:00 AM, end of services and individual departure.
