Description

Day 1: Berlin
Individual arrival in Berlin and boarding at 4:00 p.m. After settling in, we recommend visiting Kurfüstendamm, taking a stroll through the streets of the fisherman’s quarter Nikolaiviertel or going to the Brandenburg Gate.

Day 2: Berlin – Oranienburg – Eberswalde (38 km)
The first bike route is well marked and heads north up to Oranienburg. Along the route, it’s worth admiring the baroque castle with its beautiful park, the Orangerie, and the museum. The boat will wait for you in Oranienburg to take you to Eberswalde. In the heart of the city, in the Filow Canal, you’ll find Germany's oldest functioning lock, a technical monument since 1978.

Day 3: Eberswalde – Hohensaaten – Schwedt (32 or 64 km)
The day starts with a bike ride through the delightful landscape surrounding the course of the Finow Canal, leading you through forests, clearings, and gentle hills towards Niederfinow and finally to Hohensaaten. From here you will navigate to Schwedt or if you’re not tired, you can decide to complete this second stretch of 32 km by bike.

Day 4: Schwedt – Mescherin – Stettin (30 km)
Today you will ride through the borders of the Lower Oder Valley National Park reserve, a precious ecosystem that hosts several bird species, but also offers don’t-miss attractions. You will then proceed to Gartz and Mescherin, where the boat will be waiting. You’ll continue to the city of Stettin (known as Szczecin in Polish), located at the mouth of the Oder, one of the largest ports on the Baltic Sea. We recommend visiting the city’s historic center with the castle of the dukes of Pomerania.

Day 5: Stettin – Boat to Wolgast
The boat will reach the wide waters of the Stettin Bay, also known as the Oder Lagoon. You will then arrive in the city of Wolgast, at the estuary of the Oder and considered the gateway to the island of Usedom with its 40 km of white beach and 2000 consecutive hours of sunshine per year. We recommend visiting the medieval historic center and the Church of St. Petri.

Day 6: Wolgast – Peenemünde – Lauterbach (15 km)
In the morning you will ride through Zecherin and the Karlshagen port to reach Peenemünde. If the weather allows, we recommend biking from Trassenheide to Zinnowitz, along the coast. You will then get back on board in Peenemünde and at 6:00 p.m., the boat will set sail to Lauterbach, located in the southern part of the island of Rügen (arrival around 9:00 p.m.).

Day 7: Lauterbach – Stralsund (48 km)
The last day of biking will see you crossing places like Putbus, known for its circular square, Garz, Poseritz, and Gustow until you reach Stralsund where the boat will await you. The city, an old medieval fortress of the Baltic Sea, has always played a key role due to its fleet and the power of its maritime trade. The historic center of Stralsund, built in the Baltic Gothic style, and featuring narrow streets between the colorful facades of houses, was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

Day 8: Stralsund
After breakfast, disembark by 9:00 a.m.; end of services and individual departure.
