Description

Day 1: Koblenz
Individual arrival at Koblenz and embarkation from 4:00 pm; for those arriving early, there is the possibility to leave your luggage on board from 10:00 am. Tonight your boat will be anchored in this charming city, one of the oldest in Germany: its numerous historical monuments, the wealth of its museums and the picturesque location at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle at the entrance to the Rhine Valley make the city the ideal starting point for this journey between culture and nature.

Day 2: Koblenz – Boppard by boat | Boppard – Rüdesheim (46 km)
Your bike and boat tour begins by following the course of the Rhine from Koblenz to Boppard, towards the Unesco World Heritage site of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. From here, you cycle directly on the left bank of the river, admiring its castles and crossing the Lorelei Rock until Rüdesheim. Overnight on board in Rüdesheim or Bingen.

Day 3: Rüdesheim – Mainz (32 or 35 km)
Biking tour from Rüdesheim, passing through the beautiful Rheingau and Eltville, or on the quiet left bank, directly to Mainz where you can visit numerous churches, museums and monuments. The main ones are the Dom (Cathedral), the Royal Palace, the National Theater, the Citadel and the Gutenberg monument.

Day 4: Mainz – Nierstein (17 or 26 km)
From Mainz, continue on picturesque bike paths. The route then goes through Laubenheim, arriving at Nierstein, where lunch on board is planned. Possibility to visit a vineyard on board a tractor.

Day 5: Nierstein – Mannheim by boat | Mannheim – Heidelberg (26 km)
Sailing on the Rhine in the direction of Mannheim. Bike ride to the Celtic city of Ladenburg. The tour ends in Heidelberg: an ancient city and destination for tourists coming from all over the world. Here you can independently visit the magnificent Castle, the Old Bridge on the Neckar, the Philosophers' Way, the winding alleys of the old city, the many market squares and the countless beautiful churches.

Day 6: Heidelberg – Eberbach (34 km)
The bike route starts from Heidelberg, passing through Ziegelhausen, then through the low mountain range of the Odenwald to Neckarsteinach, to reach the picturesque town of Eberbach, with its narrow streets. In the evening you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere that reigns in this ancient Hohenstaufen town, strolling through the winding streets and small squares in the center.

Day 7: Eberbach – Bad Wimpfen (45 km)
The first stop of the day is the beautiful Hornberg Castle in Neckarzimmern, located on a steep spur overlooking the Neckar Valley, the largest and oldest castle in the valley. After the visit, you will continue by bike to Bad Wimpfen, the final destination of your bike and boat tour, famous throughout Germany for its warm and salty waters with revitalising properties. The historic center, of medieval layout, is one of the most beautiful in the Neckar Valley. We suggest you take some time to explore it; the Blauer Turm and the Steinhaus are worth a visit.

Day 8: Bad Wimpfen
After breakfast, disembark by 9:00 am.
