Description

Day 1: Bad Ischl
Arrival at Bad Ischl. Before your arrival, you will receive a welcome video through email. Upon arrival, you will pick up your detailed travel documents at the hotel in Bad Ischl.
Overnight stay in Bad Ischl. 

Day 2: Bad Ischl – Thalgau (47 km; +535/-467 m)
The Salzkammergut R2 Bicycle path begins in Bad Ischl, goes through the villages of Pfandl and Radau and finally reaches St. Wolfgang. From here, you can reach St. Gilgen, also known as the Village of Mozart, by boat. The route continues towards Scharfling Pass and, after crossing the Krottensee and Mondsee lakes, it carries on to Thalgau. Overnight stay in Thalgau. 

Day 3: Thalgau– Seekirchen (48 km; +438/-467 m)
Continuing along the Salzkammergut Bicycle Path, you'll cycle from Lake Mondsee to Lake Irrsee and, at its end, you will reach Oberhofen. Then, you will continue along the left shore and, after passing through the town of Neumarkt, follow the path that skirts Lake Wallersee until you reach Seekirchen.

Day 4: Lake Wallersee – Seeham (23 km; +157/-155 m)
Today's itinerary starts from Lake Wallersee and passes through Kostendorf and Schleedorf, then carries on to Lake Mattsee. Once you arrive at Lake Mattsee, you'll embark on a loop around the lakes before finally arriving at Seeham. Overnight at Lake Obertrumer See. 

Day 5: Seeham – Hallein – Salzburg (70 km; +451/-551 m)
Departing from Seeham, you will cross Nußdorf to reach the village of Oberndorf, famous for the Chapel of St. Nicholas, also known as the Silent Night Chapel, where the famous Christmas song resonated for the first time. After the visit, the route continues along the Mozart Bike Path. Following the Salzach River, you'll first reach Hallein, then return along the same route. Overnight stay in Salzburg. 

Day 6: Salzburg – Thalgau (24 km; +346/-220 m)
Today, you will ride along the cycle path built along the track of the Ischler Bahn, a legendary railway that once connected Salzburg to Bad Ischl. During the journey, you will cross Eugendorf and finally reach Thalgau. Overnight stay in Thalgau. 

Day 7: Thalgau – Bad Ischl (44 km; –648/-701 m)
Leaving Thalgau behind, you will venture into a dense forest until you reach St. Lorenz: a charming village on the shores of Lake Mondsee. Having passed Lake Wolfgangsee, you will tackle a short climb to the Scharfling Pass, then continue along the bike path that runs along the lake to Strobl. After crossing Lindau, you finally return to Ischl. Overnight stay in Bad Ischl. 

Day 8: Bad Ischl
After breakfast, end of services and individual departure.
