Description

Day 1: Konstanz
Individual arrival in Konstanz and hotel accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may find some time to visit the Mainau Island, a true floral paradise thanks to its mild climate; you can also take a stroll through the narrow streets of old Konstanz or visit the aquarium at the Sea Life Center or the Archaeological Museum.

Day 2: Konstanz –  Wangen/ Hemmenhofen (35 km)
Your first bike ride takes you along the Gnadensee Lake arm to Radolfzell, a former imperial city now a renowned holiday resort. You'll continue on towards the Swiss town of Stein am Rhein, crossing the peninsula of Hori, past residence of writer Hermann Hesse and artist Otto Dix. Depending on where you're staying for the night, you may cross the border back into Gailingen.

Day 3: Wangen – Überlingen (45 km)
Today's route begins with a tour around the Höri peninsula to reach the spa town of Radolfzell. You'll visit the Radolfzell Cathedral, which has the tallest bell tower on Lake Constance. You'll cross the Bodanrück passing Bodman-Ludwigshafen. Following the bike path along the shores of Lake Überlingen, you'll reach the town of the same name. From afar, you can already admire the imposing Cathedral of St. Nicholas.

Day 4: Überlingen –  Lindau (60 km)
From Uberlingen through gentle vineyards, you'll reach Friedrichshafen: along the route, you'll encounter the Baroque church of Birnau, a pilgrimage destination and the ancient city of Meersburg, where it's worth stopping for a stroll in the center up to the old castle. In Friedrichshafen, the city that gave birth to the zeppelin, it's worth visiting the museum, interesting even for aviation and technology enthusiasts. Afterwards, you'll continue on to Kressbronn. Overnight in Lindau.

Day 5: Lindau – Horn (45 km)
In the morning, take some time to visit the Bavarian city of Lindau, situated on an island and connected to the mainland by two bridges and bordering Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You'll then head towards Bregenz, another famous tourist spot where you'll be surrounded by the blue of the sky, mountains, and lake. The city, capital of the Vorarlberg region, is also a vibrant cultural center where the annual theater festival is held. From here, you can take the cable car to Mount Pfander, which offers a magnificent view of the lake. You'll then cross an important natural reserve in the Rhine Delta, between Austria and Switzerland. Overnight in Horn.

Day 6: Horn – Konstanz (35 km)
The last day will take you through the Romanshorn region, with the most important port on the Swiss side. You'll pass many villages with characteristic half-timbered houses to return, finally, to Lake Constance by bike. If you haven't already done so, you can visit Mainau Island and make a detour to Reichenau Island, known for its romantic churches.

Day 7: Konstanz
After breakfast, services end and individual departure.
