Description

Day 1: Konstanz
Individual arrival to Konstanz and hotel check-in. Depending on your arrival time, take some time to visit Mainau Island which, thanks to its mild climate, is a true flower paradise; you can also take a walk through the narrow streets of Konstanz’s old city or visit the aquarium at the Sea Life Center and the archaeological museum.

Day 2: Konstanz – Radolzell -Überlingen (50 km)
The first leg of your tour will take you by bike through the famous imperial city of Radolfzell and the hilly, wooded Bodanrück peninsula, tackling some short uphill stretches. You will finally arrive in Überlingen, known for its beautiful late Gothic style cathedral and the pleasant walk along the lake.

Day 3: Überlingen / Kressbronn Wasserburg / Lindau (50/60 km)
From Überlingen, you will reach Friedrichshafen by bike, cycling through vineyards: along the way, you can visit the baroque church of Birnau, a pilgrimage site, and the ancient city of Meersburg. In Friedrichshafen, the birthplace of the zeppelin, it's worth visiting the museum, interesting not only for aviation and technology enthusiasts. You will then continue to Wasserburg, through extensive orchards. Overnight stay in Lindau.

Day 4: Lindau – Arbon (50 km)
Today you will head towards the Bavarian city of Lindau, located on an island and connected to the mainland by two bridges, on the border between Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will then head towards Bregenz, another famous tourist spot where you will be surrounded by the blue of the sky, the mountains and the lake. The city, capital of Vorarlberg region, is also a vibrant cultural center where the theatre festival is held every year. You will finally reach Hochst, where you will cross the border again to Arbon, in Switzerland. Overnight stay in Arbon.

Day 5: Arbon – Konstanz (35 km)
Today you will cycle through the Canton of Thurgau. You will pass through many villages, where you will see characteristic half-timbered houses and finally arrive in Konstanz. If you haven't already done so, you can visit Mainau Island, take a pleasant walk and enjoy an ice cream at the harbor.

Day 6: Konstanz/ Kreuzlingen – Schaffhausen (50 km)
Today awaits a splendid bike ride along the southern shore of the lake, through Swiss fishing villages with typical frescoed medieval houses; crossing the border between Germany and Switzerland several times, you will eventually reach Stein am Rhein, literally stone on the Rhine: the city is indeed located where the lake becomes the Rhine again. Continuing along, you will encounter Schaffhausen, a city that retains a historic center with 171 oriels: the facades of the houses are artistically painted; moreover, the towering Munot fortress, where since 1377, a keeper has maintained order and legality. A visit to Schaffhausen will take you back in time.

Day 7: Schaffhausen – Rhein Falls – Konstanz/Kreuzlingen (45 km + boat)
Today begins with a bike ride to Rhein Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in Europe. On the other side of the Rhine, you will return to Stein am Rhein and continue through the Hori peninsula, to Gaienhofen, from where you will take the boat to Reichenau Island. In a few kilometers, you will finally return to Konstanz.

Day 8: Konstanz/Kreuzlingen
