E-bike and Boat Tour of Dalmatia from Dubrovnik to Split

Day 1: Dubrovnik
Individual journey to Dubrovnik. Check-in on board starts between 2 and 2:30 pm at Gruž, the town port. At about 4:30 pm, there will be the opportunity to go on a guided tour through Dubrovnik where we learn about the town’s history and visit the most impressive sites. The boat spends the night in Gruž offering the guests an opportunity to experience Dubrovnik’s nightlife.

Day 2: Dubrovnik – Mljet Island (28 km)
In the morning we cross over to the green, forested island Mljet, known as the honey island. With 70% of its landmass being covered by woodland it is the most forested island in the Mediterranean region. Homer mentioned this lovely island in his epic poem the Odyssey, making it the home of the Nymph Calypso and the legendary Greek king Odysseus who, unable to resist Calypso, stayed on Mljet for seven years. Our cycle tour on the island takes us from Sobra to Pomena where our ship awaits us for dinner. Overnight stay in Pomena.

Day 3: Lastovo Island and Korčula Island/town (28 km)
On the third day, our ship takes us to the Island of Lastovo. The island is one of the smallest inhabited islands in the Adriatic Sea. The Emperor Augustus appreciated the mild climate on the island, and in Roman times it was even named Augusta Insula after him. Today’s cycle tour takes us across this beautiful island. The gold-coloured white wine Marastina, known even beyond Croatia’s borders, is grown here. Back at the boat it’s time to cast off! A crossing takes us over to Korčula Island, regarded as one of the most beautiful islands in Dalmatia. The picturesque town of Korčula competes with Venice for the honour of being the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Spend the evening wandering through the fishbone alleyways and soak up the atmosphere of this stylish town. A guided city tour will give you an overview of the city and its history.

Day 4: Korčula town – Vela Luka (60 km)
Today’s cycling tour leads us across the charming island of Korčula. A mild Mediterranean climate and a vast variety of different landscapes accompany us along the tour. Take your time and don’t forget to take a break to enjoy the view over the deep blue sea and neighbouring islands. Dinner is served on board to recharge after a day full of activity. Overnight stay in the sheltered bay of Vela Luka.

Day 5: Hvar Island/town – Stari Grad – Jelsa (35 km)
The day starts with a relaxing cruise to Hvar town on the island of the same name. Make use of the time before the bike tour begins to go for a little stroll through the city. Standing on the magnificent Renaissance Square you can enjoy a view up to the Spanish Fortress towering high above the city. Today’s bike tour takes us from the Hvar town through small villages and lavender fields to Stari Grad on the opposite side of the island. After a steady climb, the descent back down to Stari Grad offers breath-taking views. After a lunch break on board we continue cycling to Jelsa, where we spend the night.

Day 6: Brač Island: Bol – Pučišća (23 km)
In the morning we cruise to the island of Brač, famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was used in part for the White House in Washington as well as for the construction of the German Reichstag building in Berlin. Once on Brač, we start our bike tour from Bol to the picturesque harbour town of Pučišća, where we spend the afternoon and evening. Enjoy the serenity of the town, famous internationally for its stone masonry college.

Day 7: Brač Island: Pučišća – Split (25 km)
Our last bike tour leads us along the northern coastline of Brač from Pučišća to Supetar. Then we enjoy our last cruise back to the UNESCO World Heritage City of Split. On a guided city tour, we get the opportunity to see inside the former Palace of Emperor Diocletian and learn about its transformation into the city it is today. A cheerful evening meal on board the boat gives us plenty of time to celebrate the wonderful week with fellow travellers and tour guides.
